The growing trend among U.S. employers to require workers to order many of their medicines through the mail has Michigan pharmacists looking to their elected officials for help.
At issue is the ability of retail pharmacists to compete with pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs -- companies that are contracted by employers to manage prescription drug benefits for workers.
