New Laws Would Level Playing Field for Michigan Pharmacies

package of five bills was introduced to the Michigan House of Representatives on Thursday, aimed at "leveling the playing field" in the prescription drug war between local pharmacies and national mail-order companies.
Unfortunately, the laws may be too late for some independent pharmacists - who face cutting staff and even closing their doors because of business lost to the mail-order firms.
