Automakers’ efforts to cut prescription drug costs by requiring workers to purchase mail-order drugs from out-of-state companies will lead to the loss of 3,000 jobs in Michigan, a Lansing-based consulting firm reported Monday.
The study, commissioned by the pharmacy-backed Coalition for Quality Health Care, is the latest salvo in an increasingly heated political battle over drugs purchased by mail.
